Skydive
Plett goes green
By

Planting trees is the easiest and
most effective way to do something
immediate to help the earth cope with
excessive carbon in our atmosphere.
I recently met Tony Lubner who started
the "Planet Green Ocean Blue” initiative,
part of the O.R.C.A. Foundation (Ocean
Research Conservation Africa). They
measure your carbon footprint and then
advise you on how many trees you will
need to plant to offset this. You can
choose to plant your own trees or they
will plant them for you.
As a skydiving operation dependent
on burning fossil fuels, we consider
it our duty to offset our carbon emissions.
To this end, Skydive Plett has planted
52 trees.
