South African National Skydiving Championships
(Canopy Piloting)

Johannesburg Skydiving Club (will be hosting the 2009 SA Canopy Piloting Nationals. JSC has been running for 14 years and is situated at its own airfield in Carletonville, 120 km from downtown Pretoria and 100 km from downtown Johannesburg.
Our swoop pond meets all IPC competition requirements for Canopy Piloting. The pond is centred in the middle of its own landing area which is located behind the club. This allows for excellent spectator value and a number of safe alternative landing zones.

Registration fees will be R300.00. The registration fee will include the following:
- Setup of event
- Welcome pack
- Awards luncheon
Jump rates:
Jump rates will be R200.00 and the guaranteed altitude for Canopy Piloting will be 6000ft.
Open Competitor: R200.00 x 9 jumps = R1800.00
Intermediate Competitor: R200.00 x 6 jumps = R1200.00

Events:
Open Event will have a total of 9 rounds and a guaranteed altitude of 6000ft AGL. The rounds will be made up as follows:
- Speed 3 Rounds
- Distance 3 Rounds
- Accuracy 3 Rounds
Intermediate Event will have a total of 6 rounds and a guaranteed altitude of 6000ft AGL. The rounds will be made up as follows:
- Distance 3 Rounds
- Accuracy 3 Rounds
