Top POP
John Browett, a.k.a. Old Man John, was tireless in his efforts to get the South African chapter of POPS established. Having started with this quest some years back, his plan finally came to fruition in 2005. The start-up members elected Old Man John as Top POP South Africa.
Since then, some 56 members have joined the society and many of those helped set the POPS 16-way record at the African Freefall Convention in January 2007.
With the society established and running smoothly, Old Man John has decided to hand over the Top POP reins into the very capable hands of Ken Elliott.
All POPS members thank Old Man John for his dedication, time and effort and wish him well.
Congratulations to Ken Elliott on his appointment.
