Jumpers
Over Eighty set records

On 31 March 2008 at Skydive Lake Elsinore, California, USA, George "Bud" La Pointe, Walter Ross and SA’s very own intrepid Old Man John Browett (Skydive Durban) set a POPS World Record for Jumpers Over Eighty when they formed a 3-way out of a Twin Otter from 13500 ft agl. Pat Newman of Skydive Lake Elsinore photographed the event.
The next day, on 1 April 2008, the same three, together with Tom Morrison (Top JOE) and Stan Perrine, formed a 5-way thus breaking the record of the previous day, again, with the same photographer.
All members of the 5-way are over 80
and total some 409 years between them.
