Caterpillar
                                          Club

The PASA office recently had an email from the Slaley wine estate in Stellenbosch. The Hunting family that owns the estate also owned the Irvin Parachute Company until a few years ago. This company designed the first parachute that could be deployed using a ripcord.
                                        The Irvin Parachute Company created
the Caterpillar Club many years ago
and anyone who had to jump from a disabled
aircraft and whose life was saved by
an Irvin parachute became a member.
The Slaley estate has bottled a special
reserve Shiraz magnum for members of
the Caterpillar Club. They would like
to hear from anyone who is a member
                                          or knows anyone who is.
