PASA
Constitution
The
PASA Constitution as it stands was written
more than 10 years ago and, although
in essence an effective and comprehensive
document, it has become apparent over
the past few years that parts of it
need to be tweaked to bring it more
in line with the requirements of the
members it serves.
A number of committees
have been created over time and much
work has been done but, unfortunately,
no final resolution has ever been reached.
This has never been due to lack of interest
on the part of these committees but
rather just due to time constraints
and the cost and logistics involved
in getting volunteers who all have busy
work and home lives to give countless
hours to a thankless task.
After a period of some
remission, the last ADZO meeting tasked
Long Pete Mauchan with rejuvenating
the process of updating the Constitution.
It is hoped that, in time, the secure
online voting feature of Phase 2 of
this E-Zine will assist in getting the
job done.
We urge all members
to read through the Constitution [click

what they don't like about this document
and what they would like to see in the
Constitution. With your input and involvement,
we hope to have a new and improved Constitution
soon.
